Pinot Noir

In France Pinot Noir is the traditional grape of Burgundy, producing some of the finest
(and most expensive) wines in the world.

It has been described as both the “Holy Grail” and also “the most frustrating vine” which can only produce great wines in challenging climates such as that at Lochani.

Family Reserve Dry Riesling (Vintage 2009)

The Family Reserve label is produced in miniscule quantities for our own family dinners and only occasionally released for public sale. The 2009 Riesling is light with a delicate floral nose leading to fresh grassy fruit flavours and racy acidity. Not aridly dry but finishing with a hint of fruity sweetness this wine will match creamy dishes and seafood such as oysters. » prices

Pinot Noir (Vintage 2005)

Subtle and multi-layered, the 2005 Lochani Pinot contrasts dark cherries on the nose with savoury fennel and aniseed flavours on the palate. When combined with smooth tannins and excellent mouth feel this produces a wine that drinks delightfully now and will continue to develop in years to come. We recommend you enjoy our 2005 with spicier foods such as Asian curries or pepperoni Pizza. » prices
